The National hive is the most popular in the UK, it is a single walled hive and is easy to handle and manipulate, adaption is easy. You can add gabled roof, sloped alighting floors, stands and shallow roofs quickly and easily

1 x Crown board with 2 bee escapes
1 x Assembly instructions and nails

Please note, if you are starting out in beekeeping you will also need to buy Frames and Foundation.

All our hives come with metal runners

If you would like your hive assembled, please allow an extra three days. We assemble hives manually, using stainless steel nails, and plenty of outdoor adhesive. After assembly we sand down to remove excess glue.

The Gabled roof is now made from solid WR Cedar, NO ply or laminated wood is used.
