Made from Solid Western Red Cedar, the National hive is the most popular in the UK, it is a single walled hive and is easy to handle and manipulate, adaption is easy. You can add gabled roof, sloped alighting floors, stands and shallow roofs quickly and easily

What you get:

1 x Varroa Floor (Including Mesh) with slide out white corex inspection tray.
1 x 6" Flat Roof with metal lid (Assembled)
1 x Standard Brood box with metal runners
2 x Super boxes with metal runners
1 x Crown board with 2 x Porter Bee escapes.
1 x Entrance block with summer and winter holes.
1 x Set of full instructions and nails.

Please note, if you are starting out in beekeeping you will also need to buy Frames and Foundation

If you would like your hive assembled, please allow an extra three days. We assemble hives manually, using stainless / Nickel plated steel nails, and plenty of outdoor adhesive. After assembly we sand down to remove excess glue. (We do not assemble landing boards due to packing complications)

Excellent value. The hive parts are well made and fit together with no problems. it was simple and quick to assemble. I am very pleased with the quality of the finished hive. An added advantage is its light weight.
