One of our regular customers in Peebles have honey bees for sale complete with Smith hive, that are good tempered and easy to handle on the comb. His honey bees are in Smith hives, and are perfect for those starting out in Beekeeping and for the advanced beekeepers who have experience keeping honeybees.

The Smith hive is popular hive in Scotland especially the Borders where it originates from. Its a single walled hive and is easy to handle and manipulate, with TOP bee space. The wood is slightly thicker than the Natioinal making it a warmer hive. Very easy to assemble.
